Full Time Advanced Esthetics

The course subjects are comprised of a large selection of subjects with each having a designated number of hours in theory and practical training. This course offers the highest standards of education and training possible which will in turn help you acquire a very gratifying position in the esthetics world today.

PART TIME PROGRAMS

Electrolysis

Electrolysis is a course designed for permanently removing unwanted hair. Students will learn different methods of treatments and will receive hands-on experience using different types of electrolysis equipment. This is an excellent program on its own or to compliment the full-time esthetics. It is suggested to have an eye exam before beginning the program.
Course length: 150 hours

Theory includes: • Structure and function of the hair, nervous, endocrine, skin systems and electrolysis machinery.
Also: • bacteriology • anatomy • trichology • structure & function of the skin • nervous system • endocrine system • abnormal hair growth • contra-indications • professional esthetics • electrolysis vs. laser and other temporary methods • salon & business organization.
Practical includes: • Computer electrolysis equipment • Galvanic electrolysis • Thermolysis and the blend.

Make-Up Artistry

Learn the techniques of professional make-up artistry offered in this in-depth program.
Course length: 15 weeks / 37.5 hours
Course dates: NEXT START DATE: September 8th, 2010. CLASS TIME: Wednesdays (6:00-8:30pm) REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, August 30th, 2010. Manicure & Pedicure

In this course you will learn basic natural nail manicures and pedicures to very specialized hand and foot treatments. This course is recommended before becoming a full service acrylic nail technician.
Course length: 11 weeks / 38.5 hours

Acrylic Nail Technician

Learn the latest techniques to create beautiful nails. Basic manicure/pedicure training is recommended for the program.
Course length: 11 weeks / 44 hours
Course dates: NEXT START DATE: September 23, 2010. CLASS TIME: Thursdays (6:00-10:00pm) REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, September 13th, 2010. This program teaches the waxing technique of temporary hair removal for the face and body.

This course is excellent for the beginner of small services or the esthetician who wants a refresher. This course combines the waxing, manicure and pedicure programs.
